Arcangelo Corelli
He was an Italian composer, a violinist, and a teacher. He studied music in a famous musical center in Bologna, the same place where Bach studied. He was one of the major factors that got the violin as popular as it is. He would perform on European concerts and introduced the violin to the general public. His music was some of the most famous in Europe at that time In these concerts he loved to perform Concerto Grosso, and through these multiple performances Corelli helped make Concerto Grosso such a key role in the Baroque era music. All of his musical creations are in a 6 opus numbers. Basically he was just a really awesome guy that greatly influenced the way the baroque era was.

Hildegard von Bingen and Michael Praetorius

There is obviously a major difference between the two pieces of music. The major reason for these differences is the time periods. Hildegard von Bingen’s music was created long before Michael Praetorius, and you can tell by the style. Her song is very simple; it’s just her singing with no back ground music. This is because when she created this song it wasn’t popular to have music playing while some one sings. It also has a very dark, depressing sound to it. Michael Praetorius on the other hand is about as opposite you get. His song is full of instruments that create a very upbeat a cheerful sound, and as Mr. Craven told us, this song was created as a dance song. So people where having a good time while listening to this, which I don’t think was the same case with Hildegard von Bingen’s piece.
Hildegard von Bingen was born in 1098 and died in 1179. In her time period very few women wrote, but Hildegard produced major works of theology and visionary writings. An interesting fact about her is that she is the first composer whose biography is known. In her life she was able to overcome social, physical, cultural, and gender barriers in order to achieve timeless transcendence.
Michael Praetorius was born in 1571 and dies in 1621. He was a German composer and the son of a pastor. He first served as a Bishop organist, but later he became a Lutheran church composer and output his 9-volume Musae Sioniae containing 1244 chorale settings, but he also published many others.

how to listen to music

During Ms. Glennie’s lecture about how to really listen to music I learned that while listening you use more than just your ears. Since she is deaf she has to literally feel the vibrations through her hands in order to know if the music is right or wrong. But she feels that ever one should listen to music that way because it allows you to completely understand what’s going on in the piece of music. She said during her speech that “everybody should use their body as a resonating chamber.” Not just the people who are deaf.
Another interesting thing she talked about is how the performer’s of music are in the worst position to hear their own music being played because all they are hearing is the initial contact of the instrument and not the sound that’s produced. Ms. Glennie is very talent to say the least and an amazing musician, I was totally impressed with everything she did.

review of chicken wing review

I like the wings here!
It is the home of the Buffalo wings, so it better be good! We got the medium spice wings and they were perfect. I filled up on the fried mixed veggies, so the rest of the wings became breakfast the next day.
The honey wheat beer is really good! The BF was lovin it.
The restaurant has its own parking lot, and I like the nostalgic memorabilia up on the walls.

MY REVIEW ON THE REVIEW

I think that this is a good review. The main reason why I think its so good is because they said they liked the wings, and they are the best wings ever. This author does a good job complementing the wings and the restaurant in general, but that’s about it.
One thing this author did a horrible job on is giving any detail what so ever. All she could do was say that the medium wings and beer were good. If I did a review I would try all the wings from mild to suicide and rate them on a scale from 1-10 (and the beer if I was legal). I would also compare the wings with and without the blue cheese. Those were the errors in this review, and if I did it the review would be way better.
